Ruiz Foods Ranks 2nd Among the Top 10 U.S. Hispanic-Owned Manufacturing Firms According to Hispanic Business Magazine, June 2006

Ruiz Foods (June, 2006), the nation’s largest frozen Mexican food manufacturer, is ranked:

• 2nd among the top 10 U.S. Hispanic-owned manufacturing companies in the U.S.

• 1st among the top 10 U.S. Hispanic-owned companies in the State of California and

• 19th among the top 500 Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States according to the June, 2006 issue of Hispanic Business Magazine.

Ruiz Foods is a privately owned corporation with over 2000 Team Members. Corporate offices and a manufacturing facility and distribution warehouse are located in Dinuba, CA.  Another manufacturing facility is located in Tulare, CA.  The third location, both a manufacturing facility and distribution warehouse, is in Denison, TX.

Ruiz Foods was co-founded in 1964 by Fred Ruiz and his father, Louis Ruiz. Third generation Kim Ruiz Beck, the elder daughter of Chairman and CEO Fred Ruiz, is Vice Chairman.  Bryce Ruiz, the elder son, is President and Chief Operating Officer.  Siblings Kelly Ruiz Hanchett serves on the Board of Directors and Matt Ruiz is in college.
